Aahh! I need to check the Chirault tag properly more often, I almost missed this! :’D
Thank you! It’s adorable <3
Also, I added Disqus comments to the Chirault website! Eventually if they are used enough I’ll do away with the shoutbox (or maybe move it into another page, like Contact, for nostalgia purposes). In the meantime, comment at will! Help me find and eradicate any remaining bugs! :D
It’s Bethan all up there :U
Hey guys, my comic collective is now accepting applications! Spider Forest is a friendly group of fellow webcomic artists and writers. We’ve got a neat forum (and Skype chat now!) dedicated to helping each other out with conventions, critiques, and general encouragement and promotion. I’ve been a member for the last two years, and I love it!
If you’ve got a self-hosted webcomic that you think would be a good fit, you can apply right here!
Apply now > spiderforest.com/apply
Two days left! If you’re a webcomic creator and you want to join forces with the following people to wield the power of AWESOME:
- Yours truly
- (A bunch of people that are equally awesome, I just can’t remember everyone’s Tumblr handles)
…then spiderforest.net/apply is the place to send in your application! But hurry, because applications close July 24 (that’s in two days!)
So this is a thing that’s still going on!
Chirault update! Guess she did get bored.
I swear the last two pages have contained panels with things other than trees. <_< >_>
I just realized I never put the final of this up on here! It’s the first page of the redrawn Chirault prologue. Those first seven pages were the first I did, using Micron pens to ink, and… they’re actually some of the first comic pages I had done, period. I’ve learned so much since then! I figured that since those seven were already outliers from the rest of the early comic, technique-wise, I might as well just completely overhaul them and make them look better for printing.
I’ve been posting my progress on these to the Chirault Patreon, along with the advance pages and miscellaneous other previews. (I’ve been trying to really buckle down on getting the early pages ready for print, too). Eventually, once it’s all ready (probably after the pages have been submitted to a printer), I’ll probably replace all of the early pages on the website with the retouched ones.
Chirault update. Rune doesn’t know what to make of this!
Chirault update! Wherein… cussing!
Chirault update! Scene change :D
Chirault update! He knows what he’s doing.
Chirault update! It’s a plaaace.
